Graduated from the HKAPA EXCEL Pearson BTEC Level 4 in Performing Arts (Musical Theatre) in 2022, majoring in musical theatre. Currently a Creative Director and resident actor of Art Mentor. He’s also a theatre director, playwright and drama educator. Before getting into musicals, he studied for a Higher Diploma in Film Acting at the Hong Kong Baptist University and has been involved in acting for more than 17 years. Recent performances include: Yau Tsim Mong Happy Hour Cabaret, East District Cultural Festivals "Under the Roof of East District" musical, Spring Experimental Theatre's "Jungle King the Musical", "The Greatest Wedding on Earth ", and "Shooting Stars the musical 17th Anniversary version". English musicals: Art Mentor's "Housemate", AMEF's "Butterfly Lovers", etc. In 2023, he made his debut as co-writer and director at Art Mentor, producing the Broadway-style English musical Annabelle: Guardian Angel. He later rewrote the English musical The Miracle of Music Revival. Gary is also active in various positions in the performing arts field. Including: Director, Playwright and Lyricist in Yau Tsim Mong Happy Hour Cabaret, Musical instructor of Primary and Secondary School, assistant dance teacher in R&T (Rhythm & Tempo) 18dArt project, lyricist for the Eastern District Cultural Festival musical "Under the Roof of Eastern District" and acting coach in Art Mentor "Miracle of Music" 3rd-run, etc.
