Charlie Tang
Professional Actor
Charlie Tang graduated from the School of Communication at Hong Kong Baptist University. He participated in the two-year Professional Physical Theatre Youth Training Programme at the Tang Shu-Wing Theatre Studio, as well as Routine Drama Workshop at Black Bird Theatre and various other drama classes. In recent years, he has also begun working in different artistic fields, as a dancer and performance artist, making him a multi-faceted performer. His recent performance credits include: The Dance WE Made @ West Kowloon by West Kowloon Cultural District (2022/2023) as Dancer; Participatory Theatre: A Whole New World by Pants Theatre Production (2021/2022/2023) as Creative Actor; The Modern Sense and Sensibility of Romeo and Juliet (2021) funded by the Arts Development Council as Researcher and Actor; HeheSheshe by Add Oil Theatre (2020/2021/2022) as Creative Actor; Tang Shu-Wing Theatre Studio Graduation Showcase (2019/2020) as Creative Actor; Game of Life II by Banana Effect (2019) as Creative Actor; Dead man’s cell phone by Tang Shu-Wing Theatre Studio (2019) as Acting ASM, etc. In addition to his work in the performing arts, he is also a licensed yoga instructor, floral designer, and perfumer.
